How to print Trademark symbol (u2122) in SapScript form

Hi,

We are in an ECC 6.0, non-unicode system. I want to print the TradeMark symbol in a form. I cannot save it in R/3 directly. It tells me it is a prohibited character. In SAPScript, I see that I can insert nondisplayable characters, but I don`t know which one is which. Can anyone tell me how to display u2122 on a form?.

There might be a special character for it (I couldn't find it), but if not, you could enter the characters TM as a superscript.

Thanks! That is a great idea. I am able to define a character format in the sapscript to print the TM as a superscript. I would really like to define a character format for superscript in the general text editior used by MM02 when the sales text is entered. I think I need to change form SYSTEM for that -- add a character format for the superscript there. I am having trouble modifying form SYSTEM. And I can`t seem to change the form in use in MM02 to something other than the SYSTEM one when the text is entered. Do you have any ideas for this?

Thanks again.

Hi Deborah,

no need to change the system style: If your program has access to the texts, you could include a /: STYLE command to switch to your custom style including the superscript definition. /:STYLE will override the current style associated with the text.
