I installed JConnector for 32 bit and Tomcat 5.5. In process installation Integration_Sap, I configured JConnect as installation guide.

When process installation finish, tab License Key invisible, and then i uninstalled Integration_Sap -> tab License Key visible again

I don't know anythings

what is war file ? please explain to me

Please show me instruction to redeploy the war file ?

Note : BO and Ietegration_Sap are a common installation directory (example: /data/<directory installtion>)

I don't see anhthing in folder keycode in link below (empty folder)

<Installation folder>/bobje/data/.bobj/registry/software/business objects/suite 12.0/sap/keycode

thanks for your advice

When you install the int kit it will modify infoviewapp, cmcapp, opendocument, and create 2 new war files (partnerplatformservices, and somthing else like saphelp)

infoviewapp and opendocument shouldn't have any bearing on what you see in the CMC. The most likely candidate would be the cmcapp. To redeploy on tomcat you simply stop tomcat delete or move the original deployment directory (cmcapp) from webapps and restart (tomcat shoudl redploy automatically). Wait until tomcat finishes (you can monitor the reads/writes in task manager) and then test the cmc. If you still get the same issue then you should open a case with the deployment/integrated solutions team to have an engineer take a look. Possibly your war files are not getting updated properly or something else is going wrong. This is usually not an issue as many customers are installing this kit without this problem..

Hi,

After installing SAP IK did you redeploy the war files. I guess if you redploy the war files then most of your issues could get resolved.

If you need instruction to redlopy then do let me know. Again i guess Tomcat 5.5 is installed? Please let us know if it is otherwise.

Since your is UNIX platform you can add the BOE keycode from the tab License Keys. You will not be able to see the SAP IK keycode there. It could be found @ the below location.

<Installation folder>/bobje/data/.bobj/registry/software/business objects/suite 12.0/sap/keycode

Edit the file with the new keycode.

Hi

just redeploying the web components will not do. You have first to install the correct version of the Java Connector (2.1.8, 32 bit)

Hi

you should use the 32bit version of Java Connector for Linux (even if you have 64bit). I would recommend to uninstall the int.Kit and reinstall it.

BTW Tomcat 5.5 should be installed? Are you sure you have TOmcat 5.0 installed?

Hi,

SAP IK license key won't be visible in the license tab of CMC. you need to modify the registry for it.

Please follow the steps below:

a) open Registry editor.

b) Navigate to

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 12.0\SAP\Keycode]

c) Provide the license key as the DWORD value

@="<Provide your license key for SAP IK>:<date of expiry for the license key>;"

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
