Link operation to object in maintenance order

Former Member

Dear All,

In maintenance ordre we have several technical objects (Equipments and Funct.locations) in the object list.

We would like to link these objects with the operations in the same maintenance ordre.

For example:

Operation/ Activity 001 ---> link to --> Equipment X

Operation/ Activity 002 ---> link to --> Equipment Y

Operation/ Activity 003 ---> link to --> Equipment X

Operation/ Activity 004 ---> link to --> Funct. Location Z

Is there a possibility to do this?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

It is possible to link objects to operations through Object link functionality...

Pls refer my earlier answered thread

This may help.

Thanks

Thank you very much!! This is the solution for my problem.

If I search for all operations with a equipment X (Transaction IW49) there is no result, even if I have linked the equipment X to some operations.

Is this normal? If yes, do you now an other report to do this search?

Thank you.

I think the object fields(Equipment, FL and Material) in that transaction are reflecting the Order header and not the order operation. I don't think there are any standard reports. However since you are in ECC 6.0, you could enhance the report or copy and change the report to provide additional selection condition and filteration.

You could check the OSS to see if there are any new developments on this transaction to satisfy the object list functionality.

Hello

I don't think so , this is possible . You hav to create separate orders for diff m/c's .

If it is a big machine with several small Assemblies , u can use the long text option in the operation tab and mention the machines and capture the work done.
