MIC for color

Dear QM experts

I have to create one mic For Color,

i cant create MIC with code group,because in code group colors will be predifined and we will select the any of color from possible entries,

in my comapny i have infinty of colors ,so i cants create code group for COLOR

so created COLOR mic as qualitative withoutt code group ,and i assigined to inprocess inpsection,

but in QA32 when i entered as result soem color as RED ,it is saying impuit shud be in form-------,so it is not accpting the text

SO i cant create a MIC as TEXT,which i can enter externally.

Hi,

The only way is to use Catlogs. but you dont want that .

Other option can be the inspection description . You can enter the text in that.
