How to set up ic web client for CRM 7.0

Hi Guys - I a Basis guy who needs to setup IC WEB Client on CRM 7.0. Is there a how to guide that I can use?

I was able to activate IC web using ICF transaction

Hi,

To activate the service, first you need to assign a role to user.

there are different types of role eg: client,manager,sales manager.

1.Goto PPOMA_CRM transaction give your user id in the box and assign role to it.

For basic use: assign "Agent" role.

2.You also need to create a BP as employee and give your user id while creating it.

It will allow you to acces the role assigned to it.

Hi,

I am not sure, what i understand is correct. What i understand is u want to launch WEB-IC from CRM system..

For that process is below.

1.Login to SAP system

2.Write click on favorites then select "Add another Object"

3.Select "BSP Application" from given list.

4.You will get a screen having 3 fields

enter following information there

Component - crm_ui_frame

default page - default.html

description - CRM WEB -IC

Thanks for your reply. What I need is to setup the IC-Web client and activate the services. I am not a functional guy, so I need technical information on ports, host names .....how to set it up?
