SNP Capacity Distribution

We are working on utilizing SNP rough cut capacity functionality. One of the challenges the capacity in SNP for our resource is distributed in hours by latest finish date. In ECC the capacity evaluation and leveling hours are maintained in the work CR02 (capacity tab) and distributed per the setting in Distribution. We can set by earliest start date or latest finish date. The question, does SNP Rough Cut capacity have the capability to also distribute the capacity by earliest start date? Right now I only set latest finish date in SNP.

In ECC CM01 see week 47 requirements of 2740. This is based on the work center capacity distribution set to overall load of start date.

In SNP rough cut see below for same item number. The capacity is in WK50

ECC CM01 will match if I change capacity distribution to latest finish date

Thus I prefer to have the capacity match based on start date.

Hello,

SNP is rough cut bucket orientated planning, it not at very granular level.

I never seen the earliest start date and latest finish date in SNP.

Where did you maintain the latest finish date in SNP?
