HI,

We are performing Root cause analysis - E2E workload analysis and Exception analysis. In the overview screen ,the graphs are showing empty, even though there are values.

What might be the issue?

Hello,

You can also check the SolMan and Managed Systems’ System Time Zone configuration. More info can be found in the SAP Note 1795169 – ABAP Statistical Data is missing from the Workload Analysis.

From the SAP Note: "If the Operating system and the R/3 system are operating in different time zones, this can affect the successful extraction of various data sources. In this specific case it results in the ABAP Statistical Data not being extracted. Therefore it is not in the BI and will not display in the workload analysis."

You can try to do the following:

1) run report RSDBTIME and take note of the date/time of the DB and Kernel.

2) Access t-code STZAC. The System Time Zone should match the same zone assigned to the DB and Kernel.

3) Run report AICCMSBI_TCO_CHECKS. Among several other checks done by this report, no issue regarding time zones in the managed systems should be presented.

As previously written in this post by the colleagues, MDX Parser and extractors configuration should be verified.

I also had some authorization-related issues. Please check if RFC users have this kind of problem using System Trace.

Regards,

Daniel

Hi,

Check whether extractor framework job is collecting data.

you check the job status should be finished and look for "display spool list"--> display content

there you can see whether data is collected or not.

You also can chekc following NOtes

1259109 Latest version of configuration file for E2E CA, EA, WA

1334374 - E2E WA: Diagram type "Portfolio"missing on Overview tab

1301709 - E2E WA: No data for "Java Memory Usage"

1260676 - ST: Display qRFC Exceptions in E2E Exception Analysis (EA)

1259534 - No data for "BI Application" in E2E Workload Analysis

1257903 - How to enable MDM process monitoring in SMD

1138070 - SMD: E2E WA/EA configuration for BI_CONT SP 8

There was one more Note, I dont remember the number, which talks about manual installation of Info objects..

Shyam.

Hi,

1. We have already applied the latest configuration for E2E WA/EA.

2. Only in the overview screen the graphs are empty.

I checked the Extrator framework Job spool and its showing me the following message - Extractor resource not found. Also when I check Extractor framework adminstration in Root cause Analysis it shows me a list of extractor that are banned /inconsistent

Hi,

Please try Note1032461.

It might be due to MDX PARSER.

I had a similar problem.

Hi,

We tried applying this note and we are getting the following errors:

1. Load library (c:
windows\system 32\librfc32.dll)failed - This applictaion has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect.Reinatlling the application may fix the problem.

2.When we execute mdxsvr.exe the following error appears

The application failed to initialize properly(0xco150002).Click on OK to terminate the application.

We coudlnt fix these two issues.

Hi Shailaja,

The librfc32.dll you implemented is Non-Unicode?

Try Non-Unicode type if Unicode, even if the solman system is Unicode.

try 64 bit Non-Unicode type, even if the solman system is 64 bit Unicode.

I had exactly this problem and it was related to the MDX PARSER connection. My infocubes were not empty but E2E didnt generate graphs and didnt show any data in workload analysis section.

Check your MDX PARSER connection, and check these notes

Note 1032461 - MDX parser does not start

Note 413708 - The current RFC library

Note 336693 - Replacing the librfc32.dll on a Win 32 Platform

What helped was:

1) Stop SAP

2) Donwload latest librfc32u.dll (unicode 64 bit version) into your kernel directory and c:\windows\system 32 and test the connection after restart (just for sure, this didnt help much as librfc32u.dll needs to be stored in kernel directory and is delivered with Kernel)

3) Download latest librfc32.dll (non unicode 64bit version), load it to c:\windows\system32, register by regsvr32 librfc32.dll

4) Start SAP

Pretty strange issue as I'm on SolMan 7.0 EHP 1 (64bit Unicode), but it helped and graps started to be generated, MDX PARSER connection started to work.
