Allocation of cost between cost elements within the same cost centre

Hi Guys,

I have a problem regarding the allocation of one cost element into other cost elements within the same cost center. Any body have a clue how to do that or can we do that at all ?

For Example:

Within cost center X:

(Before):

Cost Element A = 1000

(After):

Cost Element B = 600 + Cost Element C = 400

i.e. The amount of Cost Element A has been allocated to Cost Elements B & C using some tracing factor.

I have already triied assessments and distributions but they only allow allocations using a single reciever cost element. There is no option of using cost elements in the reciever category in transactions KSU1 and KSV1.

Hi,

It's not possible; allocation in CO module is always between cost objects (cost centre, I/O, etc.) and not between cost carriers (cost elements).

Hello,

You need to do a FI posting via FB50 :

DT GL 111 with assignment of the cost center AAA

CR GL 211with assignment of the SAME cost center AAA

This is the easiest way.
