Inspection Lot at Order Operation Level

Hi,

I need to generate an Inspection Lot for Quality Inspection at each operatin Level.

Suppose I have 10,20,30,40 operation and at each operation I need a quality check and Result recording to be done.

Once I confirm operation 10 a lot must be generated and I should be able to do the result recording.

Iam into implementation and need this very urgently.

Please suggest me the prerequisite and step by step process to do the settings for the same.

Im not expert in QM

But im sggesting one way,

Just u try

if it works, its okay for u

in routing ,select the first operation and give the control key of inspection is required ,and click the inspection characterstics and assign the MIC here as u required for 1 st operation

repeat for ur all operation.

any issues come back

hi,

for your requirement there is no direct SAP standard , but i will suggest a work around.

try to release the process order at operation level , when you will do goods receipt for that process order give batch.

an inspection lot wil be created.

similarly release second operation do goods receipt , but give a differnt batch number . u will get a new inspection lot.

for this in material master you have to select inspection lot as per batch in inspection lot control.

its just a work around suggestion.

Sorry, this can't be done that I am aware of.

Development to do this would be very involved I think. Not an easy development at all.

I'd relook at the process and see is some other design can be used.

Can you provide us some understanding of the business requirement that you have? I'm sure someone here has probably seen it already.

Hi

I think its difficult to do this.

As even if you use inspection point & doing partial lot creation it will generate the lot after confirmation of all operations( or milestone operation).
