Hi All,

I have to create open service PO. like open order with limits. I tried creating blanket PO with item category D & account assignment B. I could create a po. but service entry sheet can not be created wrt PO. is there any other option please suggest.

Hi,

You can create a Po item with item category D.

For overdelivery tolerance limits for services you have to maintain the

fields ESLL-UEBTK (unlimited) or ESLL-UEBTO (Value in percent) on the

detail screen of the service lines in the PO.

These fields are relevant and checked for the service acceptance.

Thanks a lot Edit. It helped me. one more query i have. Like i want materials also to be ordered with open quantity. like frame work order I am creating with account assignment K & item category B limits. I could create a po. there is no GR for frame work order. when i try to post invoice using MIRO, amounts are not flown to invoice. Also if I put amount value manually, balance is not zero. so please let me know how to post invoice for blanket po.

I have to use both material & service in same PO which is open ( unlimited ). so sch agreement is not suitable.

Please suggest me.

Hi,

You must bear in mind that the PO's value will be not automatically brought

in as a total when you are entering an invoice. The value is left at 0

and the user enters whatever value he/she wants to invoice - this is how

blanket PO's work. I suggest you look at the online documentation for

blanket/framework PO's for a better understanding. In order to post an invoice against a blanket purchase order - you will

need to enter the amounts on the PO Reference Tab.
