Renewal of SSL Server Certificates of our SAP Systems

Hi,

We are in process of renewing SSL Server certificates from TCS centre for our SAP Systems.

I have few queries as below:-

- Are we required to import the renewed certificates into our SAP Systems?

- Do we need to regenerate all the User certificates (X.509 format) from our SAP System after renewal of SSL Cert?

- And how much time it will take after we satisfy the renewal process?

Based on the above response I need to schedule the activity on our SAP Systems. Your early reply is appreciated.

Yes, if you want to use your new certificate.

Do we need to regenerate all the User certificates (X.509 format) from our SAP System after renewal of SSL Cert?

If your user certificates are signed by old SSL certificate then yes. 

- And how much time it will take after we satisfy the renewal process?

Just importing of new SSL certificate should be pretty quick. You need to import new certificate in STRUST and restart ICM in SMICM.
