payroll error: No entry in table T549A for key

Hi whilw running payroll, there is a error

No entry in table T549A for key

what could be the possible reason. there are 2 payroll areas one for monthly and the other for semi monthly. this is for semi monthly. monthly is running fine.

In the Table T549A Check the assigment of your Date modifer and Period Parameter with ur pay roll area

later run the Generation of pay roll periods once again .............

Hi,

Go to the perticular table and check whether you have maintained any entries for Payroll area and date modifier for semi monthly period parameter also check whether run payroll bos is checked or not.

It has been assigned.... but still the same error

Double click the error message and see if SAP tells you more information on the key.

Or trace the system and see wich parameters SAP is accessing the table T549A with, I guess there is a problem with the period modifier.
