Dear,

Just Go to OPPS and change the requirement class and requirement type change KSL to KSV Then create the sales order with reqt type KSV and check.

Or just chnage the setting of OVZG select the requirement class 30 and check No MRP indicator as Blank then it will work for you.

"Requirement planned"

Thanks Brahmankar,

Its just opposite configured in my client to what you have advised,But still On running MRP for a CIR is creating the planning order.

1. In OPPS its KSL Sale frm stck w/o ind.req.red.

2.In OVZG, the No MRP indicator is 1 instead of blank what you are advising .

Please advise.

Dear,

Ypur Requirement is that " considers sales order for planning in MRP run with planning strategy 10" right.

Then In OVZG change the setting to Blank so system will consider the sales requirement for planning and create the planned order for sales reqt with the reqt type KSL. Or just change the reqt type in OPPS and check the result.

Thanks Brahmankar,

This is not my requirement,But this is how the system is configured.

I was wondering how to enable the system to consider Sales order with planning strategy 10.

Which seem to be bit confusing with how the system is being configured & what you have advised so far.

In strategy 10 sales requirement is not consider for MRP planning it is only for display purpose.

And I'm damn confused about your requirement.

If you want to consider the sales requirement for MRP with strategy 10 then chnage the setting of OVZG to blank.

If you don't want then make it 1.

yes,

I definitely agree with you that with strategy 10 SO is only for information & have no importance in the Planning run.

Still if you feel i acn send you screen shot for OVZG & OPPS.

Vivek,

You could try to alter all the settings behind the strategy 10 so as to be just like strategy 40.

Or, you could just change your material masters to strategy 40.

HI

Check the functionalityof strategy group in which you can define maximum of 7 sub strategy.

Define Strategy Group

In this step, you specify which strategies are to be grouped together into a strategy group. You can determine a main strategy as well as a maximum of seven alternative strategies.

Note

The main strategy is proposed in demand management or sales order management but it can be overwritten by another planning strategy defined in the strategy group, if necessary.

You can assign the strategy group to the material directly in the material master record or you can first assign the strategy group to an MRP group and then in a second step, you can assign the MRP group to the material in the material master record.

Default settings

In the standard SAP system, the strategy groups are preset.

Actions

1. Check the strategy groups contained in the standard SAP System.

2. Specify new strategy groups, if necessary.

hope it will help u

Hi,

You cannot consider sales order requirement in strategy 10. Requirement of demand management will only be considered. Better option is to use starategy 40 in which both requirement can be handled.
