Getting prepared for C4C certification

Hi,

I already asked this a few weeks ago but, for some reason, got marked an answer as correct which is not correct or, at least, does not answer my questions.

I was wondering to know which is the "official" answer from someone inside SAP about my following doubt.

I want to become C4C technical certified (C4C30) and that I have a Learning Hub account from where I have access into the latest material for getting prepared. I have gone through Learning Journeys and also through Learning Content sections.

Current C4C version (1811) should be related to C4C30_Col25 which still does not exist. Current latest available version for the handbook is Col24 (which belongs to version 1808). This handbook consists in about 200 pages which just gives briefs description about topics and does not even show screenshots of most of the things. If moving backward to previous versions, this also happens. However, I have found that there is an additional document for C4C30_Col23 which includes excercises (belongs to version 1804). This was not updated into 1808 version and not sure if it will be.

After having said all this, my questions are:

a) is SAP expecting us to get preared by just reading theory and without any hands-on exercises?

b) why were exercises removed from handbooks?

c) as per the Learning Journey, we should become members of Learning Room, read openSAP introduction, read handbook and take the e-learning which goes through the handbook again. Is that really enough?

Not sure whom I should tag here so if someone could help me, I would really appreciate it!

Hope I can get answered soon in order to keep on preparing for getting certified again (as I already got certified on C4C30 in 2015).

Thanks and regards.

Alejandro.

There is another option i.e. Live Access which you may like to explore to know if it can help you with your learning journey.

Another thing which may help you is "Assessment" through which you can assess your readiness for the exam.

I hope someone from SAP Education can answer your queries; I've shared my experience as I'm also a Learner like you but on different Learning Journey 🙂

Hi,

My recent experience was with C_ACTIVATE. I hope the C4C provides the same details. What I know is "in addition to the Learning Journey which comprises the courses, individual courses describe (when you hover the pointer on the course) the requirements, from eBook and eLearning to Assessment or Classroom". Please refer to the attachments;

1) Learning Journey

2) Course Content

From the exam perspective, that's all that one needs to do. It's based on my experience so far with all of my recent certifications. I hope someone from SAP Education can confirm it.

Thanks for your comment.

In this case, the Learning Journey just points to the handbook (which does not have a single exercise - it used to have them), also, it points to a eLearning which just reads the slides of the handbook and, last but not least, it point to the Learning Room which seems not to have almost movement.

I am a bit frustrated as C4C used to have quite a lot of exposure and good materials but now things to have changed in terms of training handbooks.
