populate information to standard task

I am using standard task TS20000139 for a reason for rejection in my custom workflow.

In the Workflow container, I have the receiver name and receiver type in variable and I want to have the receiver name and receiver type to be automatically populated in the task.

I want to know whether it is possible to populate the above to data to standard task. If so, how can I populate these in the standard task.

Regards

Hi,

Try giving the values in binding.

Hi

Would you please give some idea on binding. How it works? and how the variables has to be populated?

Would you please mention in details the process of binding of variables?

Hi,

Are you new to workflow?

I think you can search sdn for more on binding.

And at present, solution to your problem would be,

copy that std task.

Call this task in your workflow instead of std task.

Then open that task and go to containers tab.

Create a container similar to your workflow container for Receiver name & receiver type with import/export parameters set.

Once this is done, save it, come back and click on the binding icon.

Try with auto binding there. If that doesn't work, try manual binding. (just drag and drop your workflow & task containers).

Hope it helps.

Hi,

You can see a task example in workflow WS20000050. Try to use it in this way.
