ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

Dear All,

I am facing problem in taken backup from db13 it comes up with the following logs but in brtools if we run the backup it is running.we are using windows 2003.please find the logs

Step 001 started (program RSDBAJOB, variant &0000000003773, user ID BASIS)

Execute logical command BRBACKUP On host ECCDEV

Parameters:-u / -jid VERIF20100113114513 -c force -w only_dbv -p initdev.sap -m ALL

Dear Kumar9.

Please check the SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES parameter in the sqlnet.ora. Case the value of the parameter is set to none, please change to NTS end restart the listener.

Hi,

Are you facing this issue after a system copy ?

May be prolem with OPS$. Please check SAP Note 400241 - Problems with ops$

The OPS$ users are taken from R/3 and used to set up the connection to the R/3 database and to execute sapdba and BR tools and are created as part of the R/3 installation

Can you check if R3trans -d is working fine .If yes then it may be the case that your schema password got locked or may bechanged.

Please let us know if you have performed system copy in your system.If yes then you need to run post system copy sql scipt in system.You need to run sapconnrole.sql & oradbusersql in system. You can find these scripts at exe directory.

Please make sure that in place of PSAPSR3 only SR3 for schema name while running the scipt.
