Change hostname of MaxDB server.

I want to change hostname of MaxDB server.

For the Oracle, some parameter should be changed. (ex.listener file).

What about MaxDB?

All you need to change are the connection details for your db clients.

For NetWeaver application servers this means you've to update the XUSER entries on ALL servers and for ALL <sid>adm/SAPService<SID> users PLUS you've to maintain the entries in DB59/DBCON to point to the new server.

On the server side there is no action required.
