Hi to all,
I have created a planning layout and I have generated the Excel file format, but when I am trying to upload the txt file I always receive following error:
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Value 000 in field "Period" is less than 1
Message no. K9019
Diagnosis
In either the initial transaction screen or within layout definition, value 000 was entered for characteristic Period.
However, the smallest valid entry is 1.
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Surprisingly, the upload is working perfectly when I am working on my own laptop (sapgui 7.10, excel 2007). But when I am trying to execute the upload from a customer workplace (again sapgui 7.10, excel 2007) I am always receiving the error message above. I am receiving the message independently of the planning layout I am using (I tried with many different layouts).
Does anyone know anything concerning this issue?
Try with Comma Delimited CSV Format..
MS DOS CSV - failed
Macintosh CSV - failed
Comma delimited (.CSV) - Worked
I had gone through same issue. It worked at my end.

Hi,
The error means that data layout is not proper. The period value in your .txt file is not copied to period filed in SAP.
Try uploading with .CSV file with proper separator ( ; or ,).
Hope this helps.

Hi,
planning layout seems to be correct. As already mentioned I am uploading data error free from my own laptop to the system. The layout is consisting of one lead column (cost element) and 12 data columns, one for every month (periods 1-12). The error message seems to be misleading. Same error appears for txt and csv files.
That's why I am thinking about a problem in the connection of SAPGUI and OFFICE 2007, but I havent any solution yet.
Any other idea?
Thanks for the feedback anyway.
