Question abt INtegration Kit

Hi Gurus,

I have few doubts need clarification:-

1] Data Integration kit is required only for integrating Crystal report with BI. Is that Correct?

2] In big environment should it be installed on every system or on the application server?

3] In corporate environment how does BO EDge Series works. My understanding is that itshould be installed on every system. Is that correct?

4] We do not need any integration kit to integrate BO Edge Series with BI. We just need to establish connection. Is that correct?

It's called the SAP integration kit not data. It is required for server and Crystal reports.

Both BOE servers and app servers

Edge is like a BOE server with app server but there is an edge version with the int kit already built in (ask a sales consultant about this) Also do not use WACS if you plan to use the int kit use tomcat or other app server.

If you have the version with the kit already built in then no, if not you may need to change versions or add the kit (I'm not 100% on this point as I usually work with BOE not edge)
