Periodic tests in automotive components

Dear All,

My client is from automotive component manufg.,where I have a requirement of periodic tests which are planned annually and performed for certain materials (no batch) as per the plan.

I have tried through stability study, but i think it does not suits the requirement and bit of complicated activity.

Is there any standard procedure to cover the requirement or do i need to customize?

Explore Audit mgt.

If Audit mgt is not suitable for you then better to go for Customization of a table which eill maintain entrie of the

Material /date etc etc.

This will generate the report as well as can be handled as per your own requirement.

Dear Sujit,

use of Audit Management will not suffice the requirement since client wants result recording for the inspection lot.

In case of Audit Management result recording is not possible.

Then use 07 or 89 type of inspetion which will create Manual inspecton lot.

Dear Sujit,

I already proposed the creation of manual lot but it is not desired since the requirement is to generate inspection lot on the planned date automatically.

Yes

there is one possibility which you can use.

What we have done ,We have T code called Zaudit whaich has vendor material plant combination.

When a due date come for inspection,it created a lot of 07 inspection type automatically through QA01( call the program ,enter the inspection lot origin & material,vendor & save).

or use bapi QPL1_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE

We execute this report every 7 days.

I need ABAP development for the requirement. Inspection lot is required rather than audit management because in our case result will be recorded for the periodic tests.

How did you mapped this, exact scenario now I am facing. Please suggest your valid input.

Do that mentioned BAPI and Inspn Type 07 helped you in any way. I too need to maintain an inspection plan.

Please share the detail/basic logic on which the ZAUDIT program is built upon. My requirement is that based on the frequency plan created by user, inspection lot should get created automatically. I hope, whatever you have developed is matching to my requirement too..
