Authorizations for ODP Background User for BW - no note found

Dear all,

I am looking for a note with information about which authorizations should assigned to the BW background user in ERP system for BW with ODP. I found a note for legacy API connection only and all help documents are linked to the SAP_ESH_LOCA_ADMIN role. But as I understand it contains also objects for administration not only access by background user.

SAP_ESH_LOCAL_ADMIN (Link) or SAP_ESH_DATA_PULL (Link)

So could somebody give me a hint where I can find all authorizations necessary for technical access only?

Hi,

thanks for your help. We found out that it seems we can use classic profile S_BI-WX_RFC in addition with note 1845061 - Background user has no authorization for scheduling to get standard extraction authorization. For something else like search, etc. there could be additional authorizations necessary but we are not using it.
