Hello All,

I have couple of questions wrt to BOBJ as below:

1. In which table, data of start time and end time of reports is stored. (in CMSPROD or AUDPROD schema)

2.Can we write to BI Database(CMS DB) from Sap BO

3.Can we use custom variable in mail body

4.Can we place file in server via scheduling through FTP server or File System.

You can add events using JAVA SDK.

Hi Hetal,

- I believe we can not use custom placeholders in body, it is restricted to subject and other fields. Still would request group members to confirm and correct me if I am wrong.

- To schedule report to FTP or file system destination, you can follow below steps:

Login to CMC with Admin account

Go to the server section.

Right click on 'Adaptive Job server'

Go to the Destination tab

Add 'File System' and 'FTP' Destination there with valid details below there.

Save the changes.

Do same for all AJS, you are having in system.

Now right click on any report, go to schedule option, select Destination option and schedule report.

Hi Hetal,

To answer your queries:

1. It is in CMS DB. you can get it using AdminTools

2. I am not clear what you want to say, but yes, it stores data related to infoobjects in CMS DB even all infoobjects as well.

3. Here customer variable means, custom placeholders?

4.Yes, you can schedule to FTP server or File System destination from BO.
