Action control for planned orders in S/4HANA EM

It seems that SAP wants to discontinue the Action Control for planned orders in S/4HANA. We heard that from one of our clients, which had direct contact with the SAP development team.

Now there is quite an uncertainty for the client because he uses the action control for planned orders quite intensive.

Does anyone know what the future direction of SAP is?

Can it be that SAP wants to “force” their clients to use the action control for planned orders from PP/DS which is now embedded into S/4HANA?
