Hi,
We want to configure trex for Nakisa, but we don't find in the documentation which business objects we need to activated in the embedded search.
Please can somebody assist?
Br
Steven
Hi Steven,
TREX is not part of TVN so configuration is done via Basis usually. EhP4 TREX config documentation should be available.

Presumabley you need TREX because of SuccessionPlanning in which case I presume also that this in 2.0. If so, are you on EhP4?
If so, the TREX objects are configured by standard.
The standard search configurations are:
SAP_JOB_FAMILY_NAKISA
SAP_JOB_NAKISA
SAP_ORG_UNIT_NAKISA
SAP_TALENT_SIMPLE
SAP_TALENT_GROUP_NAKISA
SAP_FUNCTIONAL_AREA_NAKISA
SAP_POSITION_NAKISA
SAP_TALENT_NAKISA
You may find the SAP program "ESH_ADM_INDEX_ALL_SC" useful if you need to recreate the std indexes.

Stephen

Hi Sandeep,
You won't find this in any STVN documentation because TREX isn't directly required by SuccessionPlanning, but it is required by the EhP4 functionality that drives SuccessionPlanning. You can use SAP's hardware sizing wizard to find out what you need, but it is likely you will need a dedicated TREX server for EhP4 search functionality.
Bset regards,
Luke
Thank you for your response. I was hunting for some notes and came across 1273780.
Please note that the 'Embedded Search' used in Talent Management and Talent Development requires TREX 7.10.
The ABAP part of the 'Embedded Search' is a component of NetWeaver 7.01. Additionally TREX 7.10 is prerequisite for the usage of the 'Embedded Search' in Talent Management and Talent Development.
are you aware of any landscape configuration regarding the interfacing of TREX and EHP4 ABAP?
