Funded Program in FM AVC Control Object

Hi,

We are using Funded program in one of our FM Area and budget is posted on a combination of Fund, Fund center, commitment item and Funded program. When it comes to posting of commitments and actual against budget address containing funded program , if found out in report FMAVCR01 that system is showing consumed amount as cumulative on commitment item but it not showing against budget address against which commitments and actuals were posted. I turned on trace of AVC derivation strategy of control object while doing transaction and found that Funded program is missing in posting address. I need to know the reason behind it and how can setup funded program as a control object in FM derivation strategy for control objects.

Yes, it looks OK now. Your problem was that initialization of funded program, which literally means 'make it blank'.

So, the issue seems to be resolved 🙂

Dear Eli,

I removed initialization of Funded program in FMDERIVE and reinitialized AVC ledger, Funded program wise budget consumption has started to show up in FMAVCR01. In FMAVCT consumable budget and consumed values are appearing for funded program as well . I believe it is fine now. Please advise.

Well, initializing it would certainly make it null. Doesn't it come by its own, i.e. without any rule at all? In FMBDT, though, do you see your budget posted on a funded program?

If not, I believe, you have to derive it similar to the way you treat it in FMDERIVE, since funded program has to be derived. I just thought that it applies only to derivation of FM object, but not to Control object of AVC.

Your query for "Initialize Funded Program? So, it is put to blank?". I just did it randomly to check if this resolve my issue, I have done following settings in it. Can you please guide what do I need to do to make Funded program as part of AVC control objects, I did it one of my project in 2012 but cant recall what had I done to make funded program part of AVC.

FMBASOBJNR I do not see anything for Funded program. Let me share with you the screenshot of AVC Control objects. May be you can guide if there is something wrong in it.

P.S. Also, check the content of FMBASOBJNR and FMBASIDX tables and verify that addresses with Funded program in it are duly registered there.
