I am looking for a search help that will

INPUT

first name

last name

DISPLAY a selection list which has

name

possibly org unit (and/or its text mc_short)

maybee other casual fields

NOT show BIRTHDATE or any other non-casual identifier

RETURN

pernr

I'm thinking one of these would already exist.

Many interesting comments, but as a solution to my question...

....I wound up creating a view of the data elements that I wanted (first, last, department name from org unit ) and using that. It worked fine.
