Hi,

I have defined Production shutdown using /SAPAPO/RES01.

We have defined Production shutdown for 3/3/2010 - 9/3/2010. Still we are getting 3/3/2010 as a working day in planning book, Production is planned on 3/3/2010.

I am able to see Production shutdown on downtime tab of /SAPAPO/RES01, but when I click on capacity profile single day 3/3/2010 acts as a working day.

Please help to get 3/3/2010 as a Production shutdown.

Hi Rishi ,

I hope you have defined the downtime correctly as starting from 00:00:00 hrs on 03/03/2010 and saved the resource properly.

and you have defined this shutdown in 'Downtime'Tab of resource master.

Else you can define shutdown period in Capacity Profile of Resource by setting these days as "Not a workday" and assign that Variant to the resource so that no orders are planned and displayed in Planning book .

Hope this works for you ..

Hi,

Is your problem sloved ?

Please let me know, whether the planned orders are considering the down time. I came across the similar problem.

Hi Rushikesh,

Please check the resource planning table for your resource. If you see the capacity available on a day when you have planned downtime, then your downtime is present only in database.

Add the downtime in live cache as follows:

go to RES01. enter resource name, location and version; but dont go inside resource. Instead, click Tool at top and select Live cache check. input your resource and then execute. Then select your resource row and save results in Live cache.

Please let me know in case the problem still persists.
