Avoid encryption files in Archive directory.

Hi,

I am working on a outbound interface, before sending the file to the vendor, I have to encrypt and send. In this case I had used encryption module in the receiver channel. I am picking up the file from NFS(al11) and archiving it in the sender channel. In the sender channel Archive directory, files are getting encrypted, Functional people came to back to me saying they didnt want the encrypted files in the archive directory. How to resolve the issue.

Thank you,

Vijay

Hi Vijay,

It looks like a bug. Have you tried raising an INC to SAP for this?

As a workaround, you can have two receivers, one for the archiving file and one for the actual receiver. Just make it pass-through.

Regards,

Mark

If you are in the single stack and using ICO, try to enable Staging and logging in "Advanced tab" in the ICO, i believe that should solve your problem .

Hi Vijay,

Please correct me if my understaing about your requirement is worng. PI is picking files from AL11 Folder1 , need to Archive Unencrypted files in Folder 2 , and send the Encrypted Files to Target.

In this case , I would like to know where you have configured Encrption module , in Sender or Receiver Channel. I would recommend to do it Reciever Channel .

Thanks and Regards,

Vivek Jain

Not sure how the Staging and Logging will resolve Archiving issue.

I have configured archive directory only at the sender channel. Any more ideas please.

Thank you,

Vijay

Check your message log clearly, the archiving is happening after the PGP module is executed in the receiver channel. By enabling staging and logging you can archive it as soon as sender channel picks it.
