Budget availability check from assignment of budget profile in PD

Hi Experts

I have built a Project structure with assignment of a budget profile which is configured for availability check.

Before allocation of buget, i am still able to create procurement proposals manually with assignement of this project WBS elements.

The budget availability check is active only at the time of allocaiton of original budget.

I wish to bring the control as soon as the budget profile (which is subject to availability control) is assigned to project definition.

But this is not available and i am able to create manual commitments.

Is there any means of achieving my requirement?

use user status for this

My budget profile is relevant for availability check for Total+Released.

With this setting, even though the budget is maintained in CJ30, the availability check is not active. I am able to create commitments.

Availability check is active only after maintaining release budget.

However, generally clients need budget control as soon as the project is subject to budget.

So, in this context, may please give more details on user status control to achieve the desired control.

create a user status to disallow commitments (business transactions like Material Purchase req or Material Purchase Order etc), set this on CRTD system status and remove for BUDG (Budgeting)
