Hi All,

We are able to apply filters using Linked Item set + this chart but not using Entire story + this chart.

Can anyone help on this.

Thanks,

Vijay

Hello Vijay

when you use the "Entire story" option you should notice that there is no "filter on data point selection" option, so you have to actually set a filter and not just select a member when you use the "entire story" option

Hello Vijay,

are all three charts based on the same data model?

If not - did you configure Linked Dimension?

I assume when using the Linked Item set option you also enabled the option "Filter on data point selection" ?

Hi Ingo,

Yes, all three charts based on single data model and I enabled "Filter on data point selection" when using Linked Item set.

Issue is I'm unable to do filter on entire story when using (Entire story + this chart) option.

Thanks,

Vijay

Hi Ingo,

I created below three charts using year dimension as filter in Chart 1(Profit per Year) and I linked other two charts(Gross Sales and Profit per Segment & Units Sold per Product) to Chart 1(Profit per Year) using Linked Analysis.

In the Chart 1(Profit per Year), just clicking on the year value 2013 being passed as the filter for all the charts when I use (Linked Item set + this chart) option but I’m not able to do filter when I use (Entire story + this chart) option.

Thanks,

Vijay
