Experts,
I have a requirement wherein I have to replicate entries (Only the entries which contain ATTR values as LastLogonDate) of the table UME_STRINGS of one SAP Netweaver portal to another portal using SAP SLT.
Basically synchronizing the last login details between portals.
myportal is the load balancer which load balances portalA and portalB, these are connected to the same backend database with different schemas.
The initial load is working fine, but the replication is not working I tried creating rule entry in LTRS "Advanced Replication Settings" Tcode under rule assignment.
This is the line of code I have included in field "Line of Code": "IF E_ATTR NE 'LastLogonDetails'. SKIP_RECORD. ENDIF."
Steps followed :
Any Help would be appreciated.
Best Regards,
Alankar
Andrey,
Tried but still not able to see the changes.
This is what I want to do :
1. Start the initial load from schema A to schema B, without the rule assignment.
2. Once initial load is done, I want to replicate the changes taking place in schema A to schema B with rule assignment, so if an entry having attr value as "LastLogonDate" is modified in schema A the same change should take place in schema B without affecting the other entries.
can you please guide me in doing this. I tried my best but I am not able to replicate the way I want.
Appreciate all the help.
Thanks,
Alankar

You can do it on the tab processing steps.Just execute step "Delete Load/Replication Object" for the involved table. If the configuration is still active the replication (migration) object will be created automatically, as well as runtime objects after that.

I guess, the problem is that you add the rule too late.
If you would like to add the rule on this point you have to regenerate the migration and runtime objects for the table. Regeneration takes over the new rule into the migration object.

Andrey,
Thanks for the prompt response, this is what I am doing. I want the initial load to happen without the rule, once the initial load is done, the replication needs to work only for those entries that have ATTR value as "LastLogonDetails". Basically syncing the last login information between the two portals. Also, can you please explain where exactly I have to regenerate the migration and runtime objects? Thanks,User | Count |
