z/OS 1.11

We have been waiting to see if SAP has certified z/OS 1.11. Can anybody confirm whether SAP has certified z/OS 1.11?

Hi Prasanna,

are you sure that SAP will certify a z/OS version ?

We are running 1.10 and planning to implement 1.11 next quarter.

But the colleagues that are doing this havn't any information about a certification from SAP. We are testing the new version against our own SAP development systems and non-SAP systems. Additional on one customer production system. And after this we advise our customers to implement the new z/OS version.

Hi Kay, Prasanna,

z/OS 1.11 is in the process of being certified by both SAP and IBM.

As soon as the certification is done the SAP PAM (product availability matrix) will be updated accordingly .. so stay tuned!

PAM now list 1.11 as certified with ZOS DB2 database.
