PI Monitoring Dashbord

Hello All, I have a question if there is a way to see the status of a com channel whether it be a dashboard or something automated with out having someone physically checking and then have it displayed on a web page or portal page that could be kept up all the time for monitoring.

Thats good news, would you know how i could get started on that? is there a document or something that i could look at?

Hi,

Did you check the egine status tab in the Adaper Engine component in the component monitoring....which gives you some info of the channels...

also you can see the report for the business system/services in the Message Monitoring..(i think if it is 7.1 it comes by default..but if you are on 7.0 need to check the SAP note for configuring the same...)

This gives you the info of sucess..errors..waiting.. for the respective business sytems/services....

if you are looking for the above then search SDN for the report...

Hi Charles,

To my knowledge SAP PI does not come with standard dashboard with such functionality. But you can build a custom web page using the standard SAP XI webservices related to XI Communication channel. Here you can define the dashboard way you want it.
