SPM content infoobject 0XACOCTR and the backend API to populate data

Hi Experts,

We are in BW 7.4 and SPM 3.0.

I have observed that when the cost center data from ECC has been updated to this masterdata infoobject 0XACOCTR, it gets concatenated with controlling area, for example, when the cost center in ECC is 12345 and the controlling area is ABCD, the infoobject 0XACOCTR has been updated as 12345_ABCD.

We have implemented the SPM standard content objects in ECC and in BW. The standard datasource in ECC is Z_SADS<PROJ>COSTCENTER. When we load the data via SPM UI('Load File'), the data in the PSA for cost center is just 12345. But after we proceed with Data Validation in SPM UI, when it gets loaded to the masterdata infoobject we could see the data as 12345_ABCD in the P-table of 0XACOCTR.

There is no transformation between Datasource and 0XACOCTR attribute flow and the SPM UI takes care of uploading the data from PSA to the masterdata attributes via some standard API calls. My question is how/where can i see the ABAP code that the system runs in the backend(API) to concatenate cost center and the controlling area when the data is loaded from PSA to masterdata infoobject, or to any direct update DSOs(inbound layer in SPM dataflow). I have found some of the APIs like OPM_DM_DATA_PROCESSING but nowhere i can see this concatenation statement. Anyone has any idea how this concatenation is happening.

Hello Sir,

Your question is more relevant to component EPM-SA rather than a BW one. I'm a BW guy and the only information about 0XACOCTR is the note below:

1356715 - Enabling Attribute display in SPM UI

If it's not helpful, I recommend you report a SAP incident under EPM-SA for further answer.

Best regards
