Product Groups Hierarchy

Dear All,

Is there an option to create hierarchy between Product Groups?

We have almost 200 Product Groups, and i would like to categorize them in to 10 main Categories.

Hi yaron

you can do .but you have to write a program (report) to upload your hieararchy rather than bringing from ECC.

Thank you for your response.

We are creating the product groups at the ECC and transfering them to the SRM. Can i reorder them hierarchly at the SRM?

Hi

Product category right.

you can do

but you should replicate from ECC

the equivalent one you must create in SRM

in the back end defined product category

your source system must be a SRM logical ssytem.

i think remain every thing same.

are you in Extended deployment mode.

for eg.

Stationary

pen

pencil

telecom

phone

wireless

this mainly hierarchy used for searching in catalogs w.r.t business demands.

SAP HAS RELEASED some notes upload product category into SRM via files . please check

in the file you will have list of hierarchy with sub hierarchy.
