Changing Units of Measure Groups assigned to Item - Sap Business One

Hi Experts,

Is there a way to change the unit of measure group assigned to an item? The field is currently grayed out and even though I made sure the current stock level for the item is zero and there is no open transaction in the system for this item, it is still not allowing me to change the unit of measure group.

Please advice.

This is standard system behavior. Refer SAP note,

This is also can done by OITM all UOM fields with UGP entry codes. but take the utmost care on this.

Also deal with the table ITM12 for full changes.
