Export Table content to Excel via SE16N is disabled

I would like to export the table content to Excel via SE16N but the problem is that the corresponding button is disabled:

Is it a matter of roles/permissions or there is another reason why I'm unable to export the table to Excel file?

Mike - that is the sum button in the red square

The export to Excel is here and it appears to be available - see red arrow below:

Such a great example of poor UX, similar symbol with similar color.
