Only one application can be recorded at a time, but you can switch from one application to another within a single recording. When you switch from one application to another, you will want to check and verify that the proper application profile has been selected in the recording bar.
As an example, I see customers recording a transaction in SAP GUI, then launching a pdf from SAP GUI. We have specific application profiles for SAP GUI, but not for pdfs. The first part of the recording would use the appropriate SAP GUI Application profile, but the portion recording the pdf would use the standard profile, as there is no application profile for a pdf.
