ShiftSubstitution(2003) / Planned working Time(0007)

Hello Evryone,

Our client side , employees will come different shifts ,so every week they have to change the shifts and the manager will assign shifts through portal.

So my question is where we have to assign or change shifts in 0007 infotype or 2003 infotype .

we are not going to maintain shift rotating we have generated all shifts according to their timings these work schedule manager will use to change shifts for thier employees

So how to do in which infotype manager can assign shifts

0007 or 2003???

it will be better to create substitution record in 2003 infotype rather than changing the 0007 infotype.

if there is no record created in 2003 then it is considered that he is working according to the schedule in 0007

salary in 0008 is dependant on 0007 empl percent...should be carefull with this also...the change of shift should not have change of salary....whatever shift he is working he will have the same salary according to the wsr assigned in 0007.

i have assigned new shift to an employee in 2003

substitution record created for that employee for 1 week from 11th to 16th of jan 2010

so when i am creating absence record for 12th jan 2009 it showing collision and iam pernr stoped that day in time evaluation

why its taking like that

Hi,

Goto SPRO:

Time man - Time data recording and admin - Specify system reaction to overlapping time infotypes.

Here set the reaction to "N" between 2003 and 2001 infotypes (please consider time constraint classes for your substitution and absence type).

when substitution is there its treating as attendance ,suppose we assigned an emp for day shift for 1 week .he may take leave during week but its not aloowing and if we use timeconstarint 3 i t will allow multiple record but thst not the correct solution during time evaluation we weil get error

and while running time evaluation its not picking 2011 time events its only considering worktimes from substitue.

try changing the WSR in IT0007 and check... i fell it should work.

but in our scenario manager will assign shifts to his emplyee we will not give access to 0007 to manager right

substitution infotype he can change,,,,,,,,, even we are using shift planning also substitution infortype is creating when assign shift in shiftplanning

when i am creating absence when substitution is ther it shows error and showing collisions

Hi,

Create 3 seperate daily work schedules for the employees.. Day shift, Noon shift and Night shift.. with break schedules and planned working time as applicable.

Assign these 3 DWS to Period Work schedules.. Each shift to be followed for a week.

In MSS, you can populate these PWS as a drop down option through ABAP development.

Your Manager can maintain the schedule for the employees.

wht they have to pick which infotype

if they pick PWS in portal can manager book against to each employee and once chnaged where it will saved

They have to choose IT 0007....

Each shift to be recognised as a normal shift and values to be populated in IT 0007 so that the capacity level passes to IT 0008 for payroll..

Yes, Manager should maintain this for every employee whom he wants to work in a particular shift.. Hope yr portal has such a facility.. cos MSS has this facility wherein Manager can choose employees reporting to him...

Once the manager chooses the shift for every employee and saves the record, the details should get synchronised into SAP system (for this check with your portal guys.. they should help u on this)..

2nd option : once the manager saves the record, an e-mail can be generated to the Time Administrator and he needs to maintain the shift under work schedule manually... this is not recommended as it is a tedious process..

Try giving the authorizations to manager for changing the WSR. In MSS you have this option.

we can give authorization in portal to WSR , so where it will update which infotype we give authorization
