sapinst.exe has stopped working APPCRASH ntdll.dll

We are doing system copy (backup-restore).
When we click Next during database instance phase

The swpm crashed.

I am running into the same problem.
Would you mind sharing which version of SWPM you used and if possible, the download link?
I spent a great amount of time trying different things but no luck.

Could you share the source and target SAP version details? and also have you gone thru the SAP system copy guide?

On the target system use the latest version SWPM then you problem will be resolved.

No. The latest SWPM caused that APPCRASH. Seems that the latest SWPM is not compatible with this server ntdll.dll version. SAP needs to do something about this. It is exactly same with this one:

Using old version of SWPM(non web based) resolved this issue!
