Another user modified table (OWOR) (ODBC-2039)(Message 131-183)

Dear all,

Our client is running SBO 2007 SP01 PL08.

We have 2 issues with Production Orders.

1. When attempting to change the status from 'Released' to 'Closed' after Report Completion and Issue Components had been done, we receive this error message 'Another user modified table (OWOR) (ODBC-2039)(Message 131-183)'

We have tested this with only 1 user connected to the database, received same error message.

The only option is to move to a previous Production Order and return to current Production Order or to click on Summary tab to be able to change the status to 'Closed'

Please advice why it will not allow to update the status.

2. A Production Order is posted and closed successfully. When attempting to post a new Production Order, most of the header fields does not refresh and remains the same as the previous posted Production Order.

This is confusing to the user and leads to errors.

Any advice regarding this will be appreciated.

Hi,

When you issue the Receipt from production while the Production Order is still opened , there are fields in the production order that needs to be refreshed.(Issue, available and etc.). That is why an error message "Another user modified..." is displayed. To avoid that before choosing the Close option click on the Summary tab and then on the Components Tab again. Afterwards choose Close. In this case the components tab is refreshed and there is no need to exit the Production Order.
