The Advanced DSO has three physical tables: Active Data, Inbound Table and Changle log table.

In function of the propierties of your ADSO, the extraction of data and reporting must be addressed in one or other tables:

    Data Adquisition Layer

Extraction & reporting from Inbound table Corporate memory with compression Reporting & extraction from Active Data Corporate Memory with reporting cababilities Reporting from Active Data, extraction from Inbound table Data Warehouse Layer with detla Extraction (full) and reporting from Active Data, Extraction from inbound table Data Warehouse Layer – data mart Extraction & reporting is the union of Active data and Inbound table

The views are consistent with the properties and access the corresponding table

In short, reporting view enables you to read right underlying tables to get date for queries built on the aDSO, extraction view enables you access another set right tables to upload data correctly to next infoprovider (DataMart scenario, delta handling etc)
