Performance efficiency rate in workcenter

Hi

I have maintained Performance efficiency rate in workcenter with following parameter

calculation for costing - 100, Scheduling --65

When i tested formula for scheduling i got process duration 153.846 Hours for laour hours= 100 Hrs.

When I remove Performance efficiency rate then i got process duration 100 Hours for laour hours= 100 Hrs

Please tell in first case why it is giving 153.846 Hours it should be 65hrs.

Hi,

Its because the calculation is done as duration / performance efficiency.

So in your case you have specified that the efficiency for scheduling is 65% or 0.65. Now when you specify the duration as 100 hours, system calculates it as 100 / 0.65 which is 153.846.
