Add MIC's During transaction

Hi Experts,

My client provided only 10% of master data (MIC and Inspection Plans)

Due to some consequences the client unable to produce all master data for WIP Products, bcz dimensions and standards will change dependent on the project to project.

So client requirement is, as and when during doing the transactions they will enter all master data.

I suggested triggered inspection lots will be under CRTD status, they have to upload all mics and inspection plans accordingly and to be assign inspection plan to inspection lot.

During result recording we can add MIC's against the inspection lot,

is it possible update this mic in inspection plan.

Is there any idea kindly suggest

Hi

As you suggested ,its good idea to update/modify /Create the inspection plan after inspection lot is created.

If you want to update the char n task list then better to use "Incomplete Copy Model"

This will allow to change the specs when you use MIC in the task list.

I hope this will add some value.

Hi Sujit,

Thanks for your valuable inputs, actually assigned mic's are in incomplete copy model so that I can change the mic's indicator as well as values also. But the thing is, during transaction it is very difficult to upload such master huge data and consume time. I am expecting is their any way to upload bcz it huge data maintenance.

Hi

If here we are talking about dynamically changing the task list after creation of Inspection lot then,you have to upload the huge date depending upon the number of char/MIC .At the most you can upload by LSMW or BDC top reduce the task.

We have uploading tools. wht i am thinking if we add the mic during result recording, it should be up date in the QP master data.

Is it possible pls tell me.

But Is it really possible to update the task list during RR.

As per my knowledge it will not update the QM masters like QAMR or QAMV etc
