release not possible

dear expertrs

today we create one pr, that pr is not possible to to release the message is come as below

Purchase Requisition cannot be Released.

but we choose material group, purchase group, plant, document type, everything is properly even though above message come.

even when we run thr transaction code me54n before enter any pr that message is come.

what is the solution

Hi,

The CL30N transaction is useful when checking to see if a release

strategy is been found or not when entering the characteristic values

that you have used to create the purchase requisition.

You need to enter in the release stratey class that you use for the

purchase requistion release strategy, this can be found in your

customizing. The class type is always 032 for release strategies.

Click the find button to search for the release strategy.

One release strategy should be found, if so then this is a good sign.

I would advice you to check the FAQ note 365604: Release strategies in purchasing, especially parts 1. a) and 2. e), and also the note 371667.

Hi,

Check that User ID has that roles to release PR.

Some time this Error comes for Authorisation Problem.

The authorization object Release Code and Release Group in PR (M_BANF_FRG). check wether that user ID contain that release Code and release group.

If you get release not possible means, PR is not triggered with Release Strategy.

Please check the parametere which triggere release strategy and change the PR accordingly in ME52n, inorder to triggered release strategy

Hi,

Click on other Purchase req icon & enter the PR # in same tcode. It will open that PR which you intend to releaseand then u can release that PR.
