Dedicating Machines in a Recipe/BoM

Hi,

We are a pharmaceutical manufacturing company who use process orders, recipes and BoMs in the manufacturing process. (We use the PP-PI module in an ECC6 system.)

The recipes have operational steps down to resource level ( resource = bay/line).

Within the bay/line (resource) we have individual pieces of equipment that are used in the manufacturing process.

What we would like to do is 'dedicate' specific pieces of equipment to the product being manufactured, hence block out the piece of equipment from being used elsewhere - the capacity of the equipment is taken up by the product it is dedicated to. Can this be achieved either within the recipe or the BoM. If so would it involve major master data changes?
