Custom Area For external Link

I have a requirement where I need to setup a Custom Area.

When I click on the Area this should open an extenal Link / website

I am able to achieve this through

Created a URL iview with the external URL

Created page for the Iview

Defined resource as with a window name and URL and the PCD Link of the page above

Defined the service as "Direct Url in a Separate Window" referring to the above resource

When the Area was defined the above resource was specified.

Defined Iviw / Page for the Custom Area

After all these settings, I am able to lauch the external link when I click on the Area Name.

However, my problem is that the external window opens up in a small window (within the Internet Explorer).

I have set the Iview / Page length and Width more than 1000 Pixels. If I launch the same page from left detailed Navigation, external website lauches and display fully.

is there any setting which I can change to display external Link in full window when launching from Area Page.

In define resource checked the "PCD Page Static" option this worked

Try establishing the following property (iview & page):

com.sap.portal.iview.HeightType = FULL_PAGE

I tried both these options, Still the external window opens in a small window when clicked from area page

Look for the page and set the Window Features property with "fullscreen=yes" value (without quotes).

Ensure the Launch in New Window property is set to '1' (open in external window)

All Properties set. Stil the same result.

I think the problem is with Iview rather than Page. All settings done to make it maximum or full page.
