SNP heuristic requirements generate on which bases?
which all factors consisder as requirements,it will be help full if you explain taking keyfigure factors in planning book.

Hi Smita - you probably are looking at the results 'after' Heuristic run. When you do that way, you will not see any values for SOH (Projected) key-figure as the already created receipts by the Heuristics would have nullified the values there. Or you probably are looking at the planning book situation without running Heuristics - there will be inconsistency between SOH(Proj) and the total receipt quantity.

In some business cases, deployment is carried out 'before' Heuristic to deploy all the stock from multiple locations to a single location and then Heuristic is carried out.

In any case, there are of course inconsistencies between the total receipt key-figure and the SOH(Projected) as you may understand it by now. Heuristics take SOH(Proj) as input and creates the receipts as per the that KF, but you can't compare that KF with receipts KF either before/after Heuristic,

Hi Smita -

You will see a key-figure called 'Stock on Hand (Projected)' in the planning book. Heuristic creates receipts purely based on the quantity that's maintained in this key-figure. Heuristics creates receipts only in buckets where the SOH(Projected) key-figure is negative. The negative quantity of SOH(Projected) is what actually gets created as receipts by Heuristic run. if it's positive, Heuristic doesn't create anything.

The calculation of SOH(Projected) is purely based on some standard macros which can be altered based on some specific requirements.

PS: Usually, the SOH(Projected) is hidden in the data view. You may unhide the key-figure though.

I understood your explanation on standard SAP

only SOH matters or any other key-figures are involved;IF SOH is -20 then Heuristic generate only 20?

.But Requirements are generating less/ more,Then what will be the possibility for this.Why its not generating exact requirements ?
Can you add-up your points to understand in this way.
