MM01, MM02, MM03. Material Attachments save in specific Path

Hello Team.

I have a specific require about the Attachment.

I need save the Attachment uploaded from MM01,MM02 into specific OS Path.

That's means upload the attachment in Material Standard transaction

We need this file save in a local path mapping into the AL11, for example

I'm review the DMS and GOS option, but at the moment I can't find a solution.

Can you help me.

The requirement it's all these attachments will be storage into the specific path in the System (maybe mapping to the external file system). The database size is a restriction for these process.

Thanks for you comments. Another solution is a Z development. And in this case, we have the powerful to do it.

Hi David, I didnt understand what you meant by Z development, did you mean to create custom tables to store?

Hi David,

I am not sure by default SAP allows us to change the save patht to a specific DIR, I hope if anyone knows that it would be a good learning for me as well..

But I know a couple of available options..

1. Change the handler class by copying it and adding the code to save it to AL11.
