CCMS alerts

Hi All,

All CCMS alerts are working fine at SAP level.But there is problem from Sun Solaris OS level .

Kindly suggest some valuable comments.

Hello,

I would agree to what Michael said. The SAPOSCOL reports all OS specific data to the CCMS. If it is not running, you won't see any data. You can also start the SAPOSCOL from TCODE OS06. Just click on OS Collector => Start. You should also check the oscol.ini on OS level. There you can specify what should be monitored.

I would make sure OSCOL is started and reporting. You can check for it at the OS level and in TCODE OS06 - I believe. It's one of the OSXX commands. The command will show you the status of OS COLLECTOR and if its reporting.

could you be more specific? What type of OS issues you are facing? What are all the OS alerts that are working, but not working in your OS level?
